Now Betty is distressed.

It is a silly fashion but having grown up in the 1960s I can’t say much about it.

Any day Betty is upset is a good day.

Increased their value? Is he planning on selling them?

I’ve got a fortune in my jeans drawer.

A friend had a yard sale . She didn’t sell many pair of her jeans. She distressed the rest of them and they sold for twice as much the next sale.

A strange fashion trend that as a 77 year old I just cannot understand.

My step-daughter did that to a $50 pair of Guess Jeans when she was in Hugh school in the 80s and got sent home from school because you could see her underwear.

My sister spent some time in Russia as an exchange student and told me someone there offered her the equivalent of a month’s salary for her worn jeans. I don’t know about nowadays, but back then, Russians were crazy for American Jeans. The government attempted to make and supply their own version, but these were soundly rejected…

I see the colorist realized the holes in the jeans shouldn’t have been filled in blue as they were the other day.

Teen and young adult fashion consists of trying to look totally different than preceding generations… no matter what level of stupidity it takes to do so.

My wife and I are very senior. We are still able to walk our downtown. Lots of lovely lady with torn jeans. Most young adults, but some older (much older). We want to confront them with our kindness: “Miss, I am so sorry you are unable to afford to keep your clothes up. May we be of some help?”
