Christopher Columbus wasn’t ever looking for a New World. He was looking for a westward route to Asia, but ended up in Central America around the island of Hispaniola, and actually murdered many Native Americans, wanting gold for Spain. He started the Columbian Exchange, as well as European colonization of America, but he was a bad man. In his death bed, he still thought that he had landed in the Indies.

Christopher Columbus is racist who didn’t discover America he just took all the land from the Native Americans and almost did a complete genocide of Native Americans he is basically Hitler in the 1400’s he gets day for discovering something someone else already did if I said I invented chairs even though I didn’t would I get a holiday
