Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for June 17, 2002
Transcript:
ROSA: Poor Nate's having a rough time. He lost both his morning matches. ARTUR: I will talk to him, Mr. Rosa. ROSA: I don't know, Artur. I already tried to give him a pep talk, without much effect. ARTUR: That is because you are adult. Since I am kid also, I can talk to Nate on his own level. ARTUR: Hallo. NATE: Go away.

Thanks to you, Artur, Nate’s going to quit the chess team DURING THE STATE TOURNAMENT!!! Just imagine Nate says “I can’t be on the team anymore, I don’t want to play chess anymore.” Then he walks to Mr Rosa and tells him he’s quitting the chess team. The arc ends as Nate walks out of the building
