In the very first Nate Wright Private Eye arc, Francis said the EXACT same thing as Dee Dee in the first panel.

I’m just waiting for the moment Dee Dee roasts Nate some more… Maybe a little roast about Nate’s detective roleplay as him trying so hard to seem to be “the superior one” / “the main character” / “the only one that matters” around his friends and how in the end, this is just Nate trying to make this situation all about him, like he always does… Sure Nate’s heart is at the right place, he’s just trying to help Dee Dee, but yet even then when Dee Dee is supposed to be the main focus he makes it about him…

Nate is dumb.
