I was trying to avoid the snake.

I just found out today my ex has a cat that likes to bring snakes into the house to play with them. I would be getting rid of that cat, really super quick.

It is a fun project, except that there is a deadline on finishing it.

Oh, deadlines no fun. I should be working on a project too. The entire house. Plus I need to use up the ink on the old printer & and prepare the computer for recycling. An axe is an effficient way to make sure no one can retrieve my data right?

You just need to erase(format the hard drive). Of course an axe to the hard drive would do a pretty good number, too!

Well, it is an old computer, I can’t see anyone wanting to use it. Not sure how to format the hard drive.

Well, I’m not sure what to make of the Chuacabra sighting, but what ever these beasts are, 2 of them were found dead in the same area, according to my news feed.

Note that my local CBS morning news mentioned northing about it.

Sorry, Grog et al., not to reply to your comments earlier… maybe I should make some sign of my disappearance as some here do.

The problem is that Chris Alan, my boss (see left), disappears without going ”poof”. His favorite method is to say goodbye, turn around and then walk off, fading as he goes. Presumably he is transitioning into higher dimensions as he does. And when I go with him, I vanish in the same way.

Well, since I’ve had breakfast (delivered by Grog in his usual timely manner) and CA has had his morning CocoMocha, it’s time to vamoose. I’m leaving visibly, to go to the USPS. Master Starbright… is keeping his own counsel.

Saw your comment, curious the local news didn’t carry it, but then, would it cause mass panic? It will be interesting to see where this story leads. I saw the pictures. They certainly look like strange canis familaris type animals.

I am familiar with Hood country because I lived in the the Dallas area for 5 years (Denton County, near the Dallas and Collin County lines)

Hello, Grog - I am following you and two others now that are on my PB. Am getting to learn how to use it and may upload some photos mainly as test but may be interesting.

I also need to go through last two months of checkbook to see if I have enough to get some things I need! :-) That might delay trying to upload photos!

Grog - I also watched After the Fox with Petter Sellers yesterday, it was interesting, I’m sure you know of it. I do like comedies but use them too much as an escape.

Sojourner, as much as I love to watch comedies, Peter Sellers didn’t do it for me. Cary Grant could pretty much do it all though, from sidesplitting comedy to Hitchcock thriller.

I also have some stuff by the Marx Brothers and Abbott & Costello as well

I like to think that Sellers is an acquired taste……like Mel Brooks - but I actually like some of Mel Brooks’ stuff.

I like those, also Laura and Hardy (spelling?). I think it was also you that mentioned Ma and Pa Kettle movies? I’ve seen all of those and liked them.

Soujourner, I have to see more Laurel & Hardy before I start buying for my collection, but yes I do have the first 4 Ma & Pa Kettle movies.

I brought some of those movies to a friend’s house but she told me her kids wouldn’t watch anything in black and white so didn’t watch them there.

I need to attack my checkbook now (on another computer), will check in every now and then.

How typical of kids. They don’t know what they’re missing.

Mainly just tired. I have a low grade fever. Yay! So that explains tired and warmer than I should feel in a house that is 70 degrees.

Are you taking something for the fever?

I don’t know, I also have the coughing and congestion. But it isn’t that bad. I might take something. This might also explain why I haven’t wanted coffee for a couple of days.

What I actually should do is start doing some physical work. Then I can forget about the symptoms.

Or drop a hammer on your toe. I’m sure that’ll make you forget all about it….for a lttle while.

I am better at dropping knives on my toes.
