There are a few strips that won’t come up. At least it’s not a mass shutdown of the site like last night.

Good morning one and all or who is left. This strip sorta reminds me of work. Not wanted by employer’s. People who are different but needing a job or working and having assignments taken away and when one comes up with a great idea ones go for it and yet taken away and given to someone else.

All my comics are on my homepage, including the aforementioned. I can get them there, but not if I try through the actual site.

I’m glad yesterday wasn’t ALL my fault! (on my end) I’m having internet connection problems, I think my router is getting flaky. With that I wasn’t sure if yesterdays problems here were all on my end or not. It seems I lose connection but after leaving my modem and router off for a few hours it then works. Sometimes connection becomes flaky, I think it’s the router not puting through some data.If I disapear that is probably the cause!

So that’s what a cross between a clown and a mime looks like! Either one alone is scary enough. I’m just glad the mimes don’t sing and shout when they protest! OTOH, I’m sure hundreds of mimes across the world are madly waving and stomping in protest.

Grog - I don’t remember which strip it was, but he told another poster to “get a life” and then some confusing statement about pretending we didn’t see his posts. I saw some place (I think GM) where he basically admitted that people had figured out who he is. I don’t know that what he said yesterday or today would have been enough to ban a new poster (not that I read all his posts), but I’m guessing the mods didn’t appreciate him “thumbing his nose at them” by setting up a new account.

Rmom - I’ll just have to see about the technical issue as time goes by. My router is at least 10 years old or more. I think it starts to act up and then quit as it gets hot. I intend to get a new one when I get a new computer later but may get it sooner if I need to. Just had a regular doctor apt. and also got some supplies at the Nifty Nut House as that was close to where I went.

Sojo - Oooooh! Nifty Nut House! I haven’t been there for years. When Dad was still alive, we would go there and get him peanut clusters for Christmas. Not exactly on my route, but definitely a Wichita attraction.

Rmom - As far as I know YES. (Close to a hospital.)

Sojo - St. Francis & Central or somewhere around there? Edit: Here’s their website

Rmom - Yes, a bolck or two north of there.(St. Francis is now two way N. of Central so you can get to it from Central.)

Sojo - Their website is linked to a Google map. I didn’t know St. Francis is now a 2-way street. When I go to the hospital, I usually take the Canal Route, and come in on 8th street (or is that Murdock?)

Rmom - St. Francis is still one way south, south of Central. A lot of streets right around the hospital are two way due to their expansion across some of the streets. I think that exit is 8th or 9th and curves into Murdock? Google should show it.

Sojo - I know it is the 8th/9th street exit. I’ve got a map software, just haven’t bothered looking it up. My Dad was in CICU there for a couple of weeks before he died, my mom was there with a couple of her strokes, a couple of my friends were frequent patients, so I know that hospital too well.

Rmom - Same thing here, both my parents were there for a while and had several friends there. One in paticular had a lot of health problems and was there a lot.

Sojo - One of my friends was a severe diabetic. Seems like she was in there several times in the years we knew each other. Heart problems, foot amputations, kidney problems… her husband died of cancer, so he was in there sometimes too.

The mimes are still trying to figure out how to get out of the imaginary box.

Rmom - Going there a lot can sure change your perspective on things. It can be hard for both the patient and visitors when it’s drawn out.
