Hi, Doc! Congrats, Pearlandpeach! RwB - Did you see the aerial shot I posted last week for you? Kab - Little by little they are making progress on the siding. At least they’ve hired some more people so my hubby won’t have to keep working Saturdays, and as many hours. He plans on taking a week of vacation in September to work on the siding while the weather isn’t too hot or cold.

My B-I-L will be at Hillsboro 2nd Sat for Art’s and Craft fair that takes place one day and his parents can’t help anymore. Three of us will be at their booth then. May go Sat before to look around get ticket’s cheaper.

To Little Sister how many classes are you taking at college? Me I’ll be lucky if I can only handle two. Have to watch costs.

Do they still have Pell Grants, Kab? If they do, you may want to apply. depending on your info, they used to even give living stipends.

I tried and applied turned down. Using my part job to help pay for it hubby help a little with retirment check’s also help’s buying ob ebay used books. Cause when times to sell them back won’t get much for them so why pay a lot of money when won’t get near the amount for them back. Some books as time goes I might keep otherwise sell them.

Beside’s there are so many people out of work Fed. Gov is already so much in red don’t know if can bail out a lot people wanting to take classes.

Rmom Went back and found it. Very nice. did you have to import the trees? I didn’t think those grew in your neck of the woods. Edit: NECK OF THE WOODS!! HA! I kill me.

RwB - Glad you found it! Some were planted by us or our neighbors. Most weren’t. During my son’s Biology course, we had to identify the various trees. Just on our property we came up with 10 different kinds. We only planted 2 of the varieties. Edit - “Neck of the woods” - I’ve had people not believe me when I tell them we live in walking distance of some “woods”.

RwB - Now you see why my hubby wanted to move here - most areas close enough to commute to Wichita don’t have near the trees or are really flat. It may be hard to tell from that picture as it just shows up as shadow, but there is a cliff that runs along the railroad track (which is parallel to the river most of the picture).

You should try making people order by number. It will make you feel powerful.

Frankr Try grilled cheese with jelly on it. Try just one bite. My family’s converted several hundred people to them.

Somehow, I can believe that! I’ve landed on my hip on a cement floor too, and ended up having to have the chiropractor put things back where they belong.

Hi, Sojo. Right now I am laughing, but we’ll see in the AM after wake up. The bruises are already getting big and dark. lol

Rmom, I have always been lucky with these types of injuries and so I am hoping that hasn’t changed yet.

Well at least it wasn’t worse, ♠Lonewolf♠. Our plant has a strong emphasis on work place safety, yet sometimes things still happen.

As I was finishing my day, I got a call from the place that did my framing. My framed cartoon was ready. It is now hanging in that special spot I had planned for it. Looks great.

I hope so too! Unfortunately, I’m finding that my body isn’t as limber as it used to be.

I hear you about safety, Grog. But like you said, accidents DO happen. Oh well.

Hey everyone. Some misunderstanding for Jr. college I will not be in class but at home for instructor to come in Sept. Lonewolf sorry about your accident, I had one different last Sat and got abrsians from it skinned knees. Wrist finally got over soreness, I wonder if I had sprained my rt wrist. I had to use ice packs on knees then Neosprin. All this happen walking two dogs, that is a adult dog and 11 week old puppy who instinst having leash in mouth. Puppy wrapped leash around my rt ankle and I went crashing.

Rmom around our new house to us built in mid 80’s I want trees yes for shade.

Kab - Our house was one of the first in the development, and we moved in 1995. The trees we planted have really grown in 15 years.

Be careful out there, peoples. My sister just went home today after a fall she took on concrete that splintered her thigh and broke her hip in mid-June! She had lots of therapy and is now doing fine. Really hope you won’t be too sore, Lonewolf

Good evening I will be leaving soon to read a lot on book. To clarify my comment earlier. I tried for a Pell grant was denied not poor enough for them. That’s why my pt check has to help so does hubby’s retirement checks. If I’m able to get a better job I will make up for them and wait a long time before I think of retirement. At least for now cc is going down. Means no cash on me and no future lap top. Hubby’s check has to pay for gas. What’s gas prices around. Here in KS so far unless goes up more $2.59. Last week $2.39.

Gas prices here in Helena are $2.78!!!
