I really think I’m going to have to cut back on my posting on GoComics. There’s something about dealing with most cartoonists’ sense of humor, and then most respondents’ sense of humor, that brings out the darkest and most cynical side of me. And I am not liking that at all.

Kab….the price of gas had been 2.89 for 87 octane at a name brand station for months and months. Then it went up to 2.91, and then 2.93……and then jumped to 3.05 last week.

However, I hear So. Ca. it is 3.59 at Costco!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Montana Lady CA has higher standards for gas prices. To me $2.89+ is still to high.:( sigh . I miss the lower prices. With foreign countries at war among themselves this will not end.

Doctor Toon I hope you have a great time with your bride on your honeymoon. Gas prices are getting scarier. I wonder if more are going to stay at home and not travel for vacation. How empty was your gas tank? Even 4 gallons adds up.

I think I may actually be making some progress with my family and getting everyone (including myself) better educated about Gma’s health and situation starting today. I may not like the results….. but at least they might quit telling me to deal with it alone.

I might even be able to quit driving certain tribe members batty with my own battiness. Though if not, others should expect to be driven batty as well soon.

Hello Grog - Just started watching The Mephisto Waltz, a 1971 horror movie staring Alan Alda (a year before MASH started). From the reviews I read it would of been better and well known except Alda was miscast as being the lead.

Last night I watched a video a friend loaned me. Tales From the Far Side by Gary Larson. It was a lot of short stories just like The Far Side. The only bad thing was it was only 30 min. long!

I seem to recall that movie was pretty bad, Sojourner. Like a lot of B movies.

I never saw the movie.

Seems that’s a good reason it wasn’t better known. Not many movies have Liszt’s music as a major part of the movie so I’ll continue to watch it.
