In honor of the holiday, I have filled my jelly gun with green mint jelly. Which I am told some people like on lamb. Strange.
Please remember not to eat any green potatoes unless you know they are green because they were colored. Potatoes that turn green from being left in the sun are poisonous and will make you very very ill or ummm………. If you have green potatoes you can put them in the shade until they are no longer green and then they will be safe to eat again.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day to the Tribe………well…..as to green stuff………do they still serve Shamrock Shakes at Mc D’s??? That was our kids’ favorites mannnnnny years ago.
As for me…..I enjoy Irish Steel Ground Oatmeal……..put a few steamed apple slices and cinnamon on top, and it’s a terrific breakfast!
I could maybe make green Irish Soda bread, serve it to Gma with green eggs and grey ham and green cream cheese on the Irish Soda Bread? Her doctor said her physical health was doing pretty good.
At Read to Succeed we only serve Green Eggs and Ham on Dr Seuss’s birthday. We then make each student read their favorite Seuss passage. I suppose an exception could be made for a religious holiday.
Gotta go peel potatoes, carrots, and onions. Had to go to 3 stores to find a flat cut brisket.
Already warm here 61° warm to 83°. I mentioned read bad word yesterday and it’s only March. Like everyone else I’m not ready to spend extra money on electric bill.

I believe I will have next week off so I’m taking it. I’m far enough ahead. Found out we will be working with essay’s. I had enough problem’s writing 10-12 line paragraphs. I used to much information for short lines. So I will review essay’s to see what involves. A local neighborhood is having garage sale. I plan on going. Though be hard to stay away from books.
♥Kab♥, just a thought, but you may want to start with an outline to help keep the thoughts organized and give the essay structure on paper. Start with an introduction; points to be covered in the body and finally your conclusion.
It usually works for me and I don’t end up repeating myself.
As a kid my brother and I learned what a friends dad did when he fixed supper, he colored all the food with food coloring. We enjoyed doing it when we fixed a meal, especially when we had company. For example, blue mashed potatos with red gravy. It didn’t change the taste and it didn’t bother me (food is food) but some people couldn’t eat it or it would make them sick. It just left more for me!
We, the Irish, rule today!!!! Or at least for a moment. If I look really hard, maybe I’ll find that moment.

I’m just in for a moment off and on today. We have been redoing the floor and cabinets in the kitchen, and it’s time for a break. We just need someone to reconnect the sink and replace the counter. Then there is all the fun of finding and putting back all the stuff we had to take out of the cabinets. I’m hoping to use the opportunity to weed out some more stuff that we don’t use. At least now we have lots of cupboard space, and the kitchen should be easier to work in. It was pretty bad.
O’Grog your soup sounds great. May I invite myself for lunch?
I’ve got a wee bit o’ Irish in me, my hubby has more.
Pseudo - I quit following sports once I got married, since my husband’s interest doesn’t include sports. Oh, he liked to ski, until a “hit tree” from the “Forest Mafia” attacked him, and he’s a pretty good swimmer, but forget any sport that requires catching, throwing, kicking, or hitting a ball. However, it is impossible to live in KS, and not be at least aware of March Madness.
Considering Obama’s track record of picking winning teams, I’m going to guess KS will lose. I wish he had picked Ohio instead, for that very reason.
Pseudo - (Blows a raspberry back!)
