Gypsy woman told me I would continue wasting money looking for answers outside myself.

I managed to read GROG’S menu all the way to the bottom (do I get a star, or what?). On top of the needed DTWFNC, Could I please have either a root beer float (any flavor ice cream) or a ginger ale float with vanilla? I have big straws and a half a jar of cherries, so I’m all set on that score.

Morning TRIBE I proudly walked SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED’s overgrown rat yesterday with a sweater that read, “I only bite Yankee Fans” I know I’m flirting with disaster, but I have another for her to parade, “Yankees Suck!” I bet it’s warm enough to sleep in the park.

Hi, Plods & pseu - or is that Psue? pseu - Depends on who is doing the mowing. My hubby used to mow with a Ford 9N tractor with a brush hog attached. I can’t remember if the other tractor can operate the brush hog or not. tractors I inherited a riding lawnmower from my mom’s estate, so that’s what we’ve been using the last couple of years. The tractors’ are difficult to start, and I’ve never been comfortable driving either of them. Probably because my Dad tried to teach me how to drive a tractor when I was younger, on a freshly plowed field. It was a slightly larger tractor than the 9N, but I think it was older. No cab, and the only thing that kept me from bouncing off the tractor was my grip on the steering wheel. Since it was my husband who wanted us to move out to the country, I decided if I didn’t learn to drive the tractor, he wouldn’t stick me with the mowing job. Now that my hubby’s away during the week, my sons or I have the mowing job. But with the riding mower at full speed, it is sort of like driving a go-kart. Pretty fun, as long as we avoid getting scraped by a thorn tree branch.

Today is Gma’s 83rd Birthday. Which is good because I’ve been telling everyone she is 83 for about 4 years now. She got a phone call from one of those political people yesterday. Luv - Your mom reminds me of my bossy, big sister. I can only be around her until she pulls off her “nice mask”. We try to have a truce going most of the time, but we’ll never be close friends, just because our personalities aren’t compatible. She likes to give orders, and the more someone tries to order me around, the more stubborn I become. As the title of one of the books I bought says…”You can’t make me! (But I can be persuaded)”

Pseu - A lot of people with small acreage find 9N’s to be just right, and it has come in handy. I don’t know if my hubby is just too cheap to keep a good battery on it, or what, but it usually has to be started on compression. When we first moved here, the thorn trees were small and sparse. We planted (thornless) trees and they’ve all grown, plus the stuff we’ve built are more obstacles to mow around. Not as much wide open areas to mow now, so the riding lawn mower is easier to maneuver, plus lower, so easier to get under some of the branches.

Luv - I guess I missed that bit of news. I’m sorry, as I know you & your Gma have been close. Sounds like it probably won’t be too many more days, unless she’s on a feeding tube. Your apple pie reminds me of the birthday cake my brother baked for my sister (when we were kids, and in 4-H). He forgot to add the sugar to a Wacky cake. It looked fine, but it tasted so bad, no one - including the dog - would take more than one bite. (That was before we knew dogs shouldn’t have chocolate.)

Suffering from constipation for several days, George finally visited his doctor and was given suppositories.

A week later, he called his doctor to complain that the medicine wasn’t producing the desired results.

I hate doing inventory. I have to be at the plant at 2AM and there’s really no point in going back home by the time it’s done. Since it’s also the last day of the month, it makes for a very long day because the earliest I can usually leave is about 4PM.

Fortunately, I only have to do it once a year, but because of the buyout, I had to do it twice last year.

Grog I remember those shows. We here watch The Middle involves a family with normal kids. I’m not much into shows that have been off. Now my hubby loves them. Likes watching very old one Daniel Boone. I watched Westerns growing up.

Doctor Toon I remember those days 35 years ago. I worked at a key and number very low pay warehouse and had to do inventory. I did general office work. There I wasn’t held back like at my current position. Back then there was no computers. Accounting was done by hand by a professional accountant. There was a billing and invoicing machine call Burroughs 5000 series. a big pain that broke down alot. I think that company went out of busines 20 years ago.

♥Kab♥**, the only new shows I watch these days are cooking shows and baseball & football. There’s really nothing in the prime time line-up that appeals to me these days. And once you weed out the commercials, there’s not much left to actually watch anyway.

I think the last show I watched, was The Terminator TV series. I think it was very short-lived, lasting about 8 episodes.

I also absolutely refuse to watch anything with Charlie Sheen anymore. What a jerk.

Hello once more not to long. For Charlie Sheens Two and a Half Men I never started that show. I don’t care for sports. Hubby likes CSI. and wrestling. My b-i-l and wife, my sister, likes football and crime shows. And of course I like and this is almost over as well DWTS.

Big Sister I’m sorry for what you and Monkey Two are going through. One thing regretteded when my grandma was 92 and new her time was coming I went to singles’s group and should have gone to say goodbye, I never at that time got that chance. My dad kept running us off long before his death. I also wasn’t up there not knowing that one Thursday was his last day 12 years ago. My own mom is 86 and going strong. Just has to much anxiety.

Time for bed hair is dry good night all. Big Sister I will be thinking of your time of need and Monkey two.

Sojo’s Happy Birthday Gma D Disappeared!

I am very happy Gma D made it to 83. It is after all a prime number and the age that has been firmly set in my mind for years. A very good thing since I have ADHD and will not have to replace the number. I told her last year that she was just going to have to be 83 the rest of her life.

(That’s the scary picture I took of her when she hadn’t done her hair, I promised her I would show it off.)
