I just got a call from the nurse. Bad news – the doctor won’t sign for a temporary disabled parking permit for me yet. Good news – he wants me to see the cardiologist sooner than the 26th. Sounds like he’s going to have to pull some major strings to get me in sooner than that. The first cardio I wasn’t supposed to see until June, so I thought the 26th wasn’t too bad for a top notch specialist.

I wonder if Seneca was thinking of ENFPs (like me) and ESFPs who have their faculties for internal logic in a particular “Trickster” archetypal position (giving ENFPs in particular a whacking dose of “screwballitude”), or whether he was thinking of anyone who was overemphasizing his natural strengths, or even his particular Trickster, until it became imbalanced…I must be bored to tell you this. Most of you have no idea what I’m talking about, most of the rest of you don’t care, and the one or two who could refute me I don’t want to hear from. :))

She can’t drive a standard cause she has only one arm. Does anyone else see a discrepancy? Wonder what she learned to drive over a half century ago.

It is the rude thing that I think of first. The law is also a very good deterent though. I should find out if we need to turn it in or just destroy it when we no longer need it. I always thought that an identification card would be a good idea, especially as the person needing the permit might switch cars they are traveling in.

I went to turn in my mom’s placard after she died. I didn’t realize it was only good for one year, because I remember the paperwork from her doctor saying she permanently qualified. It was a little late at that point! Of course, if it had been misused, the parking lot police might have helped us discover that fact sooner.
