Mornin’, Doc! And a 21-disruptor salute from the I.K.S. PERES Klingon Bird-of-Prey sitting on my desk, in honor of our troops.Only a few weeks ago I got to play for the funeral of an engineer friend who was also a veteran. It was the first time I’d been at a private funeral where military honors were carried out, right down to “taps” and the folding of the flag. To say it was moving almost trivializes the impact it had on me.

I meant to say, I played on my Celtic harp before and after the indoor funeral service proper. The daughter-in-law liked the recent performance of our church choir (that I’d conducted) of “The Lord’s My Shepherd” (a four-part hymn) that she had a recording of that played before I began my bit.

Good morning, Tribeandall……………..Woke up to about an inch of rain overnight. And, at MacDonald Pass (about 10 miles south west of us) they got about 6 inches of SNOW!!!! That elevation is 6320, and we sit at 4500. So, maybe tonight?

Johanan as I recall, I think your "China Syndrome special involves your CocoMocha and Nuclear Coffee. But I don’t recall the specifics.

If there’s one good thing about the lack of an edit button, it is that Dogsniff can no longer put an “x” on his favorite strips so that he can be first (to spite Marg) and fill in his comment later. He now has to play by the same rules as everyone else does.

Well I can’t see myself, but I am back from the camping trip.

Good evening, tribe.Tried to beat the heat by getting started on painting the porch railing at 8 a.m. Took me until almost noon, so wasn’t entirely successful. At least it’s done. Next will be touching up the spots I missed, but that can wait until next weekend. At least it looks nice for a little while.
