As I understand it, html codes mostly work, like < i > and < h1 > (less the spaces, of course). Italics is also underline(_) before and after, and bold is asterisks(*).
Except that there has to be a space before the first underline or asterisk. Or something like that. (And multiple ones(*) no longer work like they used to.)
.
< a href=“url” > works for embedded web links.
.
Beyond that, I get lots fuzzier on what to use.
.
My advice is to find a nice HTML code page and bookmark it for opening in another tab/window when you need something exotic. And experiment.
I do know that bold and the various headline fonts (h1, h2, h3 . . . h5) interact in odd ways, some turning red or making odd sizes—and even both.
Just gocomics trying to get us really discombobulated enough to stop using them, I guess?
PlodsAssorted Coffee could very well include Doctor Toon’s World Famous Nuclear Coffee and Paint Remover. Maybe you should just try asking and find out? If it doesn’t, all you have to do is whistle or scream.
BmonkI think I ruined another pot. My mom didn’t understand why I thought it was a good idea to get all my pots and pans from Good Will. I just think if you are going to ruin 6 or 10 pans a year, why spend a lot of money on them?
No, I know what you mean—sometimes the comment doesn’t post until refreshing; other times it takes two or three minutes to appear, and often it comes aftre just a few seconds.
.
And then there’s times—most often when I try to reply to someone—that “submit” doesn’t work, and the page has to be refreshed. In that case the text reappears, but not the “reply to xxxx”—but it still is a reply to that person when it does load.
Donkey Hotey – I don’t use the Reply button but have had some problems with it when I did. I don’t use it because I don’t see a need for it and because of it they took away our Edit button. I’ve been off for awhile letting my ’puter do a task uninterupted.
Donkey Hotey – I have a small program that adds to your clipboard letting you store all the repeat items you want with them being easily accesed in only a couple of letters at most usually. For me it’s good as I can only type with one finger at a time.
Toothpaste especially doesn’t go with thousand island dressing when you combine both in your mouth at the same time. I almost threw up. Didn’t even manage to gross out my little brother because I couldn’t keep it in my mouth long enough.
The reply button only works once for me, then I have to refresh if I want to use it again on the same page, but I always get one shot. Maybe GC’s way of keeping the chatter down…< Snerk >
I might vaguely recall that hitting reply problem. I think it might even be why I decided not tho bother with the whole reply thing anyway. On Fiend if I have to refresh it sends me back to twenty comments and this and that so……
Hey! It is a lot more work now you show off! That is another thing they did between Gocomics and Android it is a pain in the finger to copy and repost!!!
Yup! That was way back when, though we did find out a few years ago that my youngest brother still can’t stand it when we open our mouths with food in them and show him. (giggles)
LuvBFooFoo – Once my brother mixed half hydrogen peroxide and half water and told me it would make a good mouthwash. I didn’t but it should make you throw up. (Also it shouldn’t be swallowed so I wouldn’t try it on someone.)
The other little brother put the front half of a crawdad in his mouth to show off to everyone. That was actually pretty neat, but it was riverfood. Alas!
I never liked Thousand Island dressing or French for that matter. But then I could say that about most. I don’t like the thick & creamy ones. I eat Italian or put oil & vinegar mix on my salads

Hehehe! I agree: it’s cheaper to get cheap pots if you plan on ruining them.
