We have a ten year old Frigidaire 1.5 cuft with a hood and love it. I wouldn’t get anything over the stove without the built in hood.

Good Morning, Everyone,.As always, Grog, I’ll have the Blues Brothers’ Special and some DWFNC. Gotta eat well this a.m………………chemo treatment #3 is today!

The Tribesters at the Big Top did it again! I asked an opinion about microwaves, and got all kinds of info! Thanks to all..We have a Sharp Carousel downstairs, and it is perfect for just reheating things and making tea. But, the Over the Range microwave in the kitchen is my workhorse! I stuck with another Maytag, since this one was quite old. .The new generation of the larger units have a rectangular tray that slides from side to side, then back and forth. We were concerned about the mechanism, only My Mountain Man looked at it, and it is a simple rotating arm that moves the tray in those 4 directions. .Talking to folks who have one, they say there are no hot spots, and the food cooks/reheats more evenly this way..we’re getting it installed Saturday. Can’t wait!

Serenasakitty! I am moving! I am moving less than a seven minute walk from an Ice Cream Store!

Close to an ice cream store is good.

We grew up two blocks from a Baskin-Robbins (31 Flavors), and a (summer only) Dairy Queen—the oldest kind, with just two windows on the front, and no inside seating, no other foods like the later braziers had.

As long as you don’t let Kitty hunt his own meal. . . .

Kitty is too lazy to hunt a live deer. He did take down my incle’s elk once. The elk was hanging in the garage draining. My uncle was not happy. He wanted to hunt Kitty.

Yeah, I hear you. Especially since even out here, an elk hunt is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Well, maybe if you get really lucky in another state, you’d have a second chance. . . .

Serenasakitty, sure come visit me constantly. There is a library across the street from the Ice Cream Store. I have a feeling I will only notice you when we happen to be in the library or the Ice Cream Store at the same time.

Really? My uncles and cousins seem to go elk and deer hunting every year. They really like it, as matter of fact I think it is elk hunting season now.

I had an inkl-ing that uncle was what you meant. I just wanted to say it for myself. Perhaps next time I’ll use it in a sentence.
