Should be a good game the way both teams have been doing of late..I might be POPping in and out during the day, but if you don’t guys don’t see me, the Tribe is one of the things I’m thankful for today. Your thoughts, prayers and laughs have been a blessing to this old guy ever since I started posting here in October of ‘09 and even though we’ve never met, and probably never will, I like to think of the Tribe as my electronic circle of friends. .Each of you brings something special to this “table” set in the middle of a comic called Big Top, but every one of you got here because of a love for comics and if you’re like me stayed because of the, for lack of a better word, vibe you got after a couple of visits. .A special thank you to you Luv for noticing and being the first to welcome me to this impromptu forum that GC has tolerated and will be an enigma to those who only want comic comments and won’t stop long enough to get to know The Tribe. To GC, thank you. To the others, a mouse with a scroll wheel is a wonderful thing to ask Santa for, but if you want to slow down for a little bit, grab an unobtanium mug of Doc Toon’s World Famous Nuclear Coffee (Honestly, he won’t mind if you do.), and “set a spell”. .I’ve rambled, but today “Thank You” just wasn’t enough..May you and yours be blessed by the powers you believe in with love, health, and peace today and every day..PLAYNICE – please BESAFE(((((((TRIBE))))))).POOPH!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving Day to everyone. Will be watching the parade. I have a lot of stuff ready here. Mild weather. Doctor Toon that was a great post on your discussion here. I too was made welcome. Evan when health issued occured including my mom. Just like Montana Lady those hugs were very special. Not sure I will be on later. Family and friends and new friends here today.

Enjoy the virtual feast here today. The Sojourner though you have a slow recovery. I hope your friends come to visit with you. Recovery place can be so lonesome.

Good Morning and a Happy Thanksgiving to all the Tribesters! You are all so very special..I, too, felt very welcome by all when I joined in January, 2010. And, of course, am totally overwhelmed by all your love and support through my illness. .Plods……thanks for rambling. It came from the heart!!

I am thankful I found the perfect hostess gift for my Sister-In-Law at the dollar store yesterday. I know she will be really busy, so I will just set it up for her instead of wrapping it. I do hope she likes it.

Montana Lady I’m not sure when I started on BT. I started reading GC when I stumbled on them years ago. At first did not know one could comment and notice before GC change their web site comments being made and wondered how this was done. Then ahha found out and thought fantastic as there are several strips to have fun with on the fun strips to make comments on. Sure do miss the regulars who have been on longer then I have.Then to quote Big Sister

If I keep cleaning…. There will be no pumpkin pie and I will starve! I haven’t even had coffee yet, I decided I should clean the coffee maker. Hard to believe I have been awake three hours. I did find my meds, maybe things will go beyer with coffee and meds ;P

And they used to say things go better with Coke. I feel better now that I’ve finally had something to eat.

We’ve had a wonderful breakfast of homemade biscuits & sausage gravy, and pan-fried potatoes & onions. Yum! My sister has invited us for dessert @ 2, since we’re not fond of turkey, dressing, stuffing or such. We’re bringing a few games (dominoes, chess, Connect 4, & Sorry) to play while we’re chowing down on my popular chocolate chip cookies and whatever pies she buys. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary, but we’ll celebrate later this weekend. A little sobering thought that my husband mentioned last night – he wondered if we’ll get to 28 years. Not that we’re thinking divorce, but with my health problems and his, each day could be our last.I also want to thank the tribe for being my friends, especially when I’ve gone through difficult situations. Had a MRI yesterday, I’m not sure what the “worse case scenario” is, but they’ve ruled out cancer. I don’t know what the future holds, but I’ll go through it with help from God and my friends!
