on a completely different note…today marks the 8th year anniversary that i made the sober choice. on my 4th year i celebrated by going coffee bar hopping. with my present situation with mom i wont be able to do that this year,sooo…this morning when everyone has there morning joe, (or tea, or cocoa mocha) please have an extra cup on me. : )DTWFNC!_ for the house, bartender!!!

thank you everyone. its now 10:45, i am at a coffee shop, and when i pick mom up from her meeting we are going to have coffee and lunch at her favorite coffee shop. so i got to coffee bar hop a bit today. it might be a good day. : )

I found it easy to quit coffee, but I could never quit beer.

ToonComment: Good point, and Wink also should be glad it’s not shingles (which, as I recall, you can get as an adult if you’ve had chicken pox as a child). I have a theory that those who came up with the various concepts of ever-burning Hell either had shingles themselves or knew people that did. That’s exactly what it feels like. I know first-hand – I had one of the worst cases my doctors had seen, in fact I was photographed as a case study for one of the doctor’s classes with my permission.

Last year my mom had shingles on side of her forehead and scaple. Had to be on meds for this. Husband mom when alive had shingles on lower back.

Hi, noIcantspell & Sojo!Yes, I did enjoy the weather! My bearded son & I went for a walk. We’ve agreed on walking each day it gets above 60° and isn’t raining, or we’ve got to go to town. My cardiologist will be glad to know I’m getting in some exercise. I’ve kind of hit a plateau on my weight loss, so figured I’d better increase the exercise if I want to keep losing.

The high today here was 72°, I hear tomorrow is supposed to be about 20° cooler. Not really cold, but it won’t be what I call comfortable.

Glad to hear you’re getting out. Time for my zzzzzzzzzzzz’s.
