Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I’ll take that as a yes…BREAKFAST: THE 59 DINER MENU(sorry, I can’t do the appropriate coding for an embedded link, yet)http://59diner.com/?page_id=311
(the link works, and so do the usual dispensers of coffee by Doctor Toon, Alain Harper, etc., etc., plus all the other usual drinks not on the above menu)(please keep to the right, watch out for crossing deer)
Good Morning TRIBE! Thank You Alain, I’ll take the Belgian waffles plate with Doc’s Nuclear Coffee, please. Wink, I know how you feel! Right now naptime sounds good to me.
I feel your pain as I do the same work as you. Lifting, stooping, stacking, stocking up to12 hours a day. Your body hurts and aches so much that you literally fall into bed at the end of the day.
But when it’s very hot outside, isn’t it nice working in a cooler that’s 45 degrees?!
One of my night crew abandoned their job on Tuesday so I’ve been doing the work of two people this week.
Our store is open 24 hours a day (365), and when someone is a no-show you have to work their shift, too. It’s brutal. Some days you need sleep more than a toon tour.
My sister had a new trainee who looked good on paper—but he didn’t show up for his first day of work.
In the oil patch of West Dakota, many companies have drivers delivering to the rigs—and some of the drivers get hired on the spot. The responsible ones either drive their trucks back to town, or get someone else to do it for them.
Hey there kids. I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday. We have had 2 days of a nice soaking rain, thanks to the hurricane passing over. We got very lucky and it started slowly. The ground was as hard as concrete and everyone was afraid of flash flooding if we got a fast heavy rain..I think Wink is wishing he could feel a little less alive right now..To Doctor Toon & Top Cat, hats off to those of us who not only do the job, but do it well.

This is my burden as well. Doc, I learned a long time ago that there are two types of people in the world…
…those who work, and those who’ll let them.
It seems unfair, but more is expected from those who work hard while others are unashamedly content to simply collect a paycheck.
Know that your hard work does not go unnoticed by either management or the slackers, and they would miss you sorely if you weren’t there!
