Man … I don’t know if Thom’s gotten into sublimal clutter since I knew him or what – but what popped out at me is what looks like a carousel horse on the dog on the left’s chest …
Oh it’s there if you look for it. Maybe the easiest thing to do is find the pole coming down from the neck (mid-chest) – the rest should fill in. It’s like the rabbit in the moon – once you see it you can’t NOT see it …
I’m sure you remember that Far Side cartoon where the dog had finally caught the car, turned it over and was standing atop it, howling in victory…
Actually, I came across a comment recently that dogs chase cars because they are getting the invaders out of their territory–and they keep on doing it because the invaders do go.
RICK51 I usually review this strip around 4:30. and would have been happy to help you out in a chemical manner. Now however, for some unknown reason, they’re all gone. I’ve been wondering why the dog appears to be getting better.
Oh yes there is that too Lonewolf. As to the carousel horse – it could be coincidence the way Thom does the lights and shadows and such – or not – dunno – but just to the right of the dog’s ear (mid-chest) if you can find 2 parallel lines in darker brown going down (the pole) you should be able to get it (the horse’s head is to our left of the pole and just to the right of the dog’s paw)
Oh well … I guess I’ll be happy that ONE other person saw it anyway … heh

If you were chasing parked cars you have no sense.

It doesn’t look like he caught any. His face looks remarkably unflattened.

He’s missing some teeth. I’d say he’s caught a few cars in his day.

He doesn’t have any license-plate imprints on his forehead, so he must not have been in many accidents.

What good is it to chase cars anyway?
