My sister, who has a homestead, bought some chicks and they were shipped in the mail. They were hanging out in a cardboard box at my parents’ house while she was at work, and they were cheeping and peeping all day long, lol. They’re very cute, and fun to watch. These ones are colorful too, since they’re Icelandic. Apparently one waits until night, then puts the babies in with the hens, and in the morning the hens are like, “Well, I guess I’m a mother now,” and adopts them.
