Almost like Foghorn Leghorn and the dog at the end of his chain.

This is the reason that I’m not a big fan of invisible fences. If a dog is determined enough, or properly provoked, he can endure that shock enough to escape. Coming back in? Not so much.

We used this type of fence for a while. One time we loaded up the dogs in the car and forgot they had there shock collars on. When we pulled out of the driveway they both yelped at the same time.

Was once asked if I would get an invisible fence, said “No, because I don’t have an invisible dog”. Got a good laugh from the sales guy.
