Lenore still thinks you’re funny.

Quoth the raven never anymore just doesn’t sound right.

You’re still funny. Martin? Not so much.

Once upon a deadline near-y, while I scribbled, tired and bleary

Upon many a blank and vacant page, the objects of my numbing chore

While I fretted, nearly freaking, suddenly there came a creaking

Through the room and softly speaking, speaking criticisms galore

“It’s just my stupid bird,” I groaned, “speaking criticisms galore.”

“You’re not funny anymore.”

Well, it’s better to be a has been than a never was.

Is the cartoonist’s insertion of himself in the cartoon part of his medical treatment or is it just an ego trip? It is funny either way.

The raven’s rantin’.

“I would listen to my critics, but they’re stark, raven mad!”

I’m hungry. Wanna split a po’-boy?

“The Raven” makes me wonder if Poe was the world’s first rapper.

Shouldn’t that be “You’ll be funny nevermore”?

Three Martins in a row? This will take a month to recover.
