Merry Throwback Thursday, comic fans! Today's time-traveling adventure features jingles and Kringles in holiday history as we unwrap our favorite moments from Christmases past.

Over the years, our comic characters have set the standard on holiday spirit, taking cheer to a whole new level. After making our list and checking it twice, we've voted on the best of the best:

Best letter to Santa: In 2014, after nine lives of coal-filled stockings, Garfield finally found a way off the naughty list.

Best Christmas lights display: Tangled lights and burned out bulbs are no match for Marigold Heavenly Nostrils. In typical unicorn fashion, she out-sparkled us all during Christmas of 2013.
