What a nice week for Pearls Before Swine creator Stephan Pastis. 

1) Stephan's on a standing-room only book tour which includes a signing Friday here at the GoComics HQs. (also see below photo)

2) Stephan's on a panel with noted Foxtrot cartoonist and altruist Bill Amend on Saturday at Kansas City's Planet Comicon (Saturday at 2:00, takes some navigation to get the details on that link). 

3) Stephan's latest edition of his New York Times best-selling Timmy Failure book series "The Cat Stole My Pants" debuted in bookstores on April 25th!

4) WTH! Disney has just announced Stephan will be working with Academy Award-winning director Tom "Spotlight" McCarthy to bring Timmy Failure to the big screen as a feature film.

5) There was a surprisingly complimentary piece on Stephan in The Kansas City Star on Sunday.

5) His new Pearls Before Swine treasury Pearls Hogs the Road also hit the street on April 25th!

5) I've bought some of the soft cheeses for him to enjoy while he's here. In any way he chooses!
