Five Comics To Tide You Over Until You See 'Blade Runner 2049'
by The GoComics TeamBlade Runner, Ridley Scott's acclaimed cinematic adaptation of sci-fi legend Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, finally gets a sequel today. Yes, after 35 years, fans can see what a world of replicants has wrought in Blade Runner 2049.
The original Blade Runner, which saw a detective investigate a robo-murder in a Space Age populated by as many androids as people, takes place in 2019. Barring significant scientific progress, we're not likely to see life imitate art in the next two years. Good thing Blade Runner 2049 packs in some additional temporal padding to suspend our collective disbelief.
Get hyped for the next chapter in blade-running history with these five Blade Runner-themed comics.
