10 Grouch Day Comics Worthy Of An Oscar
by The GoComics TeamGrouch Day (not to be confused with Grouch Appreciation Day) is the designated date on the Sesame Street calendar that Grouches -- including the iconic Oscar -- celebrate their way of life.
This, according to the currently adrift Sesame Street Magazine, means that Grouches can revel in being grouchy... even more than on the average day. The Grouch way of life is a bit of a paradox, as they're happy being unhappy, although they can't admit to it. In essence, their lives are lies and their truth is buried beneath false pride. It's no wonder they're grouchy, really.
Regardless, Oscar and his garbage-dwelling kin have been a delight since 1969 and we wouldn't have it any other way. Celebrate Grouch Day by reading comics that will make you the opposite of grouchy, below.
