11 iPod Day Comics Remembering A Revolutionary Relic
by The GoComics TeamThe device that revolutionized music has been so successfully supplanted by smartphones and streaming services that sometimes it's easy to forget Apple's once-ubiquitous iPod. With contemporary movies like Baby Driver already using them as a kind of touchstone to our recent past, it's easy to understand why Apple's been slowly sunsetting its line of media players over the past several years. As of this year the iPod touch -- essentially an iPhone without the "phone" part -- remains the last of its kind.
For many of us, the audio-dispensing companions were (and still are) unto a kind of pet -- with exciting infancies, storied lifespans, and tragic demises. It's why iPod Day is still worth a comics gallery that reminds us of the good times. The times before... much more convenient options. Join us in remembering iPod Day with this 11-comic playlist.
