There are many emotions running through my head read now: melancoly, remorse, guilt, hubris, scorn, detachment, hunger for justice, hunger for Twizzlers, etc. But, and it's a big but, the dominant emotion running through my mind at this very moment is pride (considered a sin BTW). 

That's because my pals and two of GoComics and Andrews McMeel Syndicate's best cartoonists have been nominated again as Cartoonist of the Year by The National Cartoonists Society. 

If you check out all the winners here, you'll see that it's mostly a who's whom of cartoonists from the mid-20th century to today. Here's a list of this year's nominees.
