Rob Rogers Fired From Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
by The GoComics TeamEditorial cartoonist Rob Rogers was fired today by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, two weeks after criticizing the newspaper in an interview on CNN.
Rogers has said he will continue to draw cartoons for syndication and for GoComics.
In the CNN interview on June 6, Rogers said he believed the Post-Gazette was encouraging him to create cartoons that are friendlier to Donald Trump. The newspaper rejected some of Rogers' drawings that put the president in a not-so-favorable light, including the above Memorial Day cartoon from May 27.
Watch Rogers' interview with CNN's Jake Tapper here. You can find more of Rogers' editorial cartoons on his GoComics page.

And right they would have been, for once. No need to be maligning the president. We ALL need to show the world a face that honors the leader of the US, no matter what. Cut the biased commentary of every kind.
