I’m guessing the punchline is a reference to the fact that all those things mentioned in the first panel exist nowhere except in the diseased minds running Faux News.
Yes, that’s why I come here. For more loony looters and moochers bashing Fox News, because that’s the only turd in the pile and the rest are golden gooses that keep on giving truth and supporting values that are worth repeating. </sarcasm off>
The liberal media: Daily Kos, The Nation, Mother Jones etc. .The conservative media: Fox “News”, NY Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, talk radio etc. . Fair and balanced? Hardly.
I can state categorically that, if there’s a war on Christmas, it is the greatest failure of a war that’s ever been fought. How do I know? I work for the United States Postal Service.
Don’t worry, Mabel. Just hang in there until the Donald becomes president. He will expel all the bad people and build a great wall to keep them out. Then we will be safe as long as we remember to thank Baby Jesus and President Trump on their respective birthdays.
I never watch any of the so-called “news” channels, which are a mixture of a little news with a lot of opinion. They all have an agenda to push. It’s pretty pathetic that I must go to foreign sources like the BBC to get the news.
war on christmas? really? walmart is opening their stores at 6pm thursday. in their holy book, jesus’s family is an immigrant family(they had to stay in the barn).
What is wrong with you people?I too don't watch any of the network news shows. Especially the early AM ones. The banal, dull, insipid chatter/banner between the host and co-hosts drives me nuts!what f$%@#g drivel!
I think that what is meant by the “war on Christmas” is that you used to be able to have Christmas pageants and plays in public schools and have nativity scenes on court house lawns etc. I’m not saying whether this is good or bad but I think that sometimes it gets taken a little too far in the name of political correctness by people who are spring-loaded to the offended position. Just my opinion though.

to some extent you’re right, but I think the progressive development of overwhelming commercialism and applied science has more to do with it.

I don’t get it. How does referencing a Taylor Swift song make this a “Fox freebie”?

The only real way to get an idea of what is going on in the US is to watch the BBC…

Saw this on reddit: “We wouldn’t have a war on Christmas if it didn’t cross the border of Thanksgiving and invade Halloween.”

Good old US of A, land of illiberal “liberals” and angry conservatives, plus a vast horde of know-nothings, sprinkled with professional haters….
