Still overpopulation reigns supreme. Evidently the hunters of wild hunters aren’t doing their job. Might I suggest we help them out with a global thermonuclear war? If we reduce the human population by even 60% a lot of the Earth’s proplems would simply disappear.
Me and my mate listened to the Zero Population Growth people back in the 70s. Now we have to rely on the financial support of the grandchildren of those who did not listen.. Glad I don’t have any to pay Stimulus and Tarp.
.. well, this ol earth doesn’t have any problems it can’t take care of by itself….humanity might have a ton of problems these days…but the earth? ol man earth has been around a long long time…and some species have lived here a LOT longer than people have……and will be here a lot longer after our little stint has fizzled…… but, the thermonuclear war will hasten things to that end a bit
I’ve heard it said the entire population of the planet would fit in Duval county, Florida if they would build two 80 story building per acre. And only have 12 apartments per floor. Go figure.
Portnoy’s complaint (Sorry, old English Lit joke.) seems reasonable. Seen enough starving deer to know that it actually has some relevance, long as the meat goes to hunger and not the racks. Wonder what you need to dress out a 300-lb Beer Swiller?
The interesting part is that there are indeed certain groups of people who seem determined to overpopulate the planet. The Octobeast is the most famous specimen, but she is by no means the only one.

I like Portnoy’s reasoning here. Serving Mother Nature can also be fun.

Controlling human overpopulation….hmmmm. Wow, thru the eyes of “others”…

Makes ya wonder if that’s the principle at work behind keeping several wars going at once, all over the planet…
Divide and conquer!

@freeholder1: since it’s already marinated and smoked (and well -marbled), you just need a big enough frying pan and some onions and garlic.
