If I recall correctly, there was a MIT(?) doctoral student who had his Ph.D. Thesis classified immediately upon handing it over to the examination board. I think that I read this in a New Yorker magazine series back when that magazine was readable. I ‘think’ that the topic was on making small nuclear devices.
I think that Milo is ticked because Oliver has got a bigger BOOM than his. No anarchist likes that.
As someone said about the Rosenberg scandal, there is no secret to the atomic bomb. Anyone who understands the physics and who can get the materials can make one.
The secret to successfully building a nuke isn’t in the physics, it’s in building it without getting killed by the radiation from the fissionable materials.
I don’t know about whimpering, but the point was that the Rosenberg didn’t have any “nuclear secrets” because there really weren’t any. As I recall, it has since been demonstrated that there were four or more spies inside the Manhattan project who routinely passed on more or less everythig. I’m sorry you don’t understand that. If you get some free time some day you might look into the matter.

Tough act to follow…..however, the Solar System might be the best one. They should have a Last Place ribbon. The Dead Frog would have gotten it.

he just labelled it “Thermonuclear Explosive Device” but how do we know it works?

If things go wrong, Sarah’s project will survive. Even if nothing else does.

Could be worse, Bink; at least your entry wasn’t “Dialing for Toast.” (Name that reference!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy Holidays, all!
