My 16-year-old daughter & I love watching the Oscars together. As a matter of fact, we both have already set in our calendars a date to watch the 100th. (Last year was funny; my husband had the closed captioning on, and one movie was called “Call Me Bill Your Name.”) The Oscars and the CMAs are always a firm date for us…at least, for as long as she wants to watch them with me. Oh, and she wants to be a writer; I told her that when her Best Seller becomes a hot movie, I will be her “Plus 1”. LOL

Too bad, Joanie is quite entertaining.

Yeah, like that ever happened in history. Everyone knows Joanie Loves Chachi always carried the day.

Frankly, I’d rather watch Joanie Loves Chachi AND Charles in Charge.

It’s easy to understand why they give themselves awards, but why do people watch them do it?

I love the old strips. Truly I do. They are like a window into the past. Specifically, 36 (gasp) years ago! My heavens I need a nap.

Isn’t Opus cute back before he was a star! 1982 . . . was The A Team a thing yet?

Oscars? What’s that?
Oh, wait. I think I have a dim recollection; but it’s been so long since i’ve cared.
