Michael Jackson had an existence. He never had a life. He was a product. Even the face he saw in a mirror was manufactured. There was so much pain in his life the miracle is that it lasted as long as it did. Justin Bieber is the closest we have now to Jackson. For my dime Bieber is handling his success much better. In a very real sense both are the Corn King. They have a period during which they are raised high and at the end of which they are sacrificed for the bounty of the land.
