Don’t worry, son. You’ve got way more than a measly 143 million years—“In approximately 5 billion years, the sun will begin the helium-burning process, turning into a red giant star. When it expands, its outer layers will consume Mercury and Venus, and reach Earth. … Either way, life as we know it on Earth will cease to exist”—https://www.space.com/22471-red-giant-stars.html

But Binkley dear, out of all those millions of years, YOU get to exist at the same time as Eric Clapton. So…..upside.

I know people like this. Enjoy the moment. That’s why it does not last yet does. Now is a moment that lasts forever the Chinese sages teach. They are right.

There is no past and there is no future. There is only the present. It is a gift.

    “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a d*mn!”

It’s tough being so anxiety-beset as Young (Michael) Binkley: I for one won’t sweat what might or might not happen 143 million years from now….

I don’t worry about the earth. It can take care of itself. Life will return no matter what we do to it. Now humanity on the other hand,I am not as optimistic on our survival…
