I used to have to deal with a Major Uncool. He was a walking advertisement for the fact that Majors and Lt. Colonels have to prove that they’re idiots before getting promoted.
I guess we’re not supposed to notice anything about the presumed quality of comic strip narrative (I am still mired down in “It’s garbage. Stylized garbage! Garbage! Garbage! Garbage!”). Oh, well, it’s just for fun, right?
