We had one eat an oak piano leg

My wife came home from work one day, and started to prepare dinner. She then noticed that a 10 pound bag of potatoes was gone.

She immediately took our doggy Gonzo to the vets. (I wasn’t home yet.) The vet determined that Gonzo had eaten the entire bag of potatoes, including the bag. He also determined that it would all pass eventually, and it did!

The vet, and my wife and I, were never able to determine why Gonzo ate the bag of potatoes. He was quite healthy both before and after the incident.

After Gonzo eventually passed over the rainbow bridge (oh my goodness, 30 years ago), my wife got his medical record from the vet.
