i don’t know much about superheroes but Kate Clark and Howard Dean are unsung-heroes.
Dr. Dean has done some world shakin’ and was way, way ahead of the other Democrats on universal health care. He paid the price of unpopular [but righteous] views — outspoken against Iraqi / Afghanistan wars, grass roots campaigning, online fundraising & registration.
When the Democratic party slanted corporatist he went the other way. He was by far the best liberal [or any other kind] governor in America. Dr. Dean is the serious conscience of the Democrats, like Bernie Sanders is the fired up conscience of Independents — although the two are not friends. He’s also raised more “clean” money for the cause that all the rest put together.
Rep. Katherine Clark [2013 Legislator of the Year for her service on women’s issues] is the near-perfect example of the good Democrat, a true liberal & outspoken foe of Trumpism and a ferocious defender of President Obama. Like Mr. Obama she has a superb legal mind and is a member of the powerful House appropriations committee.
Dr. Dean stumbled when he endorsed Ms. Clinton for President. He ain’t gonna make that kind of mistake again. I want to see these two endorse Bernie Sanders and then we’ll have an American Justice League for real!
