Huey: It's not the guns that bother me. I believe in the right to bear arms... Caesar: Right... Huey: It's the frightening ideologies behind the guns that worry me. I say, let's keep the guns... Caesar: True... Huey: And let's ban the conservative, imperialist, capitalist oppressors who make the world such a violent place! Think about it! We get rid of them, and we don't need the guns anymore!! Caesar: You think they say the same thing about us?

Huey still has his idealistic dreams! I’m so glad. He hasn’t been crushed…some may say “yet” and hard to argue with that, but from such dreams there is potential for action, and then work toward practical solutions. We salute everyone who marched summer 2020, and those who continue to keep the movement alive.

The mere thought of having guns is pretty polarizing. On one hand, you can defend yourself from crooks, but on the other hand, you’ll probably get arrested for killing a man.

No, Caesar, while the original intent of the amendment was to arm fugitive slave patrols, that’s long since been forgotten by gun nuts.
Now the guns are worshiped just for existing.

When this Comic first ran it touched me, I blew it on the Copier [member that] and it hung in my Office until my last day…“You think they say the same thing about us” ? Great line, made me think.
