Principal: Mrs. Dubois, this is Principal Williams at J. Edgar Hoover elementary. I was looking over Jazmine's paperwork, and I see the question regarding race and/or national origin has been left blank. Sarah: Yes... Principal: Well, I was wondering if you might, um..tell me what that might be? Sarah: Why? Principal: No reason...um, you know, uh...Kwanza season is fast approaching...aaand I just wanted to know if I needed to buy one more Kwanza card this year, that's all. Sarah: Yeah, right...

This is why I don’t like Tom and Sarah in the comics, they refuse to acknowledge her biracial heritage. If one side is ashamed of the other side, they should have never gotten married.

Poor Jazmine. Always left in the dark about her biracial heritage. Are Tom and Sarah secretly ashamed of their marriage or something?
