Mippy jumps into the basket or any open drawer.

Our cats only snuggle in the light colored clothes to make the laundry look more like them. Although Sox will jump into any basket when he hears thunder or fireworks.

Mine climb into the dryer itself while I’m getting things out if I don’t unload fast enough. Then it’s straight onto the folded piles when I shoo them out.

“I fluffed too hard” is now my all-purpose excuse for everything.

“Fluffed too hard” — yes, we all know nothing exists in a cat universe until it is knocked on the floor.

The woman looks so serene in the last panel. I am amazed, since she is getting so much help from Elvis, Puck, and the Baby.

One day I found our cat, Sheba sleeping in the basket on top of my husbands white under pants and shirts. Good thing she had ‘white’ fun on her belly.

Laundry days with 5 cats is fun. Miscreant “helps” make the bed every time. Tiger holds down the clothes in the basket so they don’t get away while Miscreant rides on my shoulders to hang and fold. The three girls inspect folds and pick a pile to nap on.

My late cats thought laundry day was just for them, warm clothes, nirvana! Add sweet scent and you could hear purring in the next room!

LOL That’s what I do. And Katie loves to have a pair of underpants thrown over her head to play with.

I would be hard put to fold a basket of warm clothes that a kitty was enjoying. We’d be in trouble….!

My kitty would dive into a basket of warm laundry, burrow to the bottom and stay there as I folded the clothes when I was done he looked at me like “more please.” I miss him!!

My tom won’t go near the laundry room, (the sound of tennis shoes being dried in the dryer just once scared the fur off him and he’s never forgotten) but when I bring the clothes upstairs to fold on the bed he goes a little nuts to have me upside down the basket over him. He loves playing “hide ‘n’ swat” inside the laundry basket while I fold. Warm clothes to lie on don’t much interest him. He’s way too fluffy and well insulated himself to want yet more warmth.

Jingle Belle Katt attacks the folded towels (biting and kicking) then rolls on the underwear.
