Ahh, so that’s why cats walk over everything, lol. They’re just been helpful and adjusting stuff :D Love how the lighting adjustment adjusted everything… i would never have thought to do a detail like that, which is why i’m a reader and just enjoy all the details Georgia puts in.

And speaking of little details…

YAY!!! It’s back!!! And the new look is lookin’ fabulous! I love that we can see Puck’s true colours. ;-) Ahh poor Elvis . . he’ll just have to get used to the idea of a black tie affair.

MIss the old layout. So artistic. Scrolling down allowed me to see one or two panels at a time and time to really appreciate. Oh, well.

Is this really a new strip? Sometimes BK runs old ones, and I was guessing this was one of the first — seems more elementary (in drawing) than her usual ones.

I’m not sure they’re back. Pretty sure they won’t be fully back until March, but Georgia did say she had a few surprises for us in the meantime. This must be one of them.I loved the old format, but will certainly take any format to keep Georgia in business! :)

It took me awhile to realize that while I had my favorite actors and actresses, turned out I was much more consistently entertained by looking for writers and directors I liked.

Woohoo! A new story. Just gotta love those techie guys! Hmmm. Does having a real black shade mean no one gets to have green ties? (See last panel)

I remember Georgia making a comment once that drawing Puck’s expressions was a little difficult, until she started washing him out to a paler shade of black. So I wonder what this bodes for the future of Puck’s image?

I love the strip regardless of format. Glad the color was so easy to adjust. *-)Oh! Do what you need to do to keep the strip running. XO

I don’t think this signals a permanent return to new strips. Georgia has consistently said new ones will come when the strip begins in newspapers (March or April).

HOWEVER, during her move, she tweeted about the inconvenience of her brain coming up with a Christmas story while the rest of her had so many other things going on. So…

I think the newer layout is just great. We all need to remember that not only is this wonderful content free, it is produced by a young artist in the middle of many transitions-new home, new state, new friends, new format, maybe finally getting some richly deserved attention and, fingers crossed, compensation. On my device I can enlarge it to see things a couple panels at a time, so still can enjoy the magnificent details. Now, with the holidays coming up, let me put in a plug for other ways to support Georgia-the Zazzle site has not only an assortment of BCN cards, including Christmas and Hanukkah, but mugs, t shirts, tote bags and other BCN themed gifts. I think Georgia also has some items on her Etsy and Society Six sites, including her other, non cat related artwork, which is amazing. I especially love the animal theme prints. If I had kids or grandkids, they would be loaded down with this stuff. As it is, I have pressed books, mugs, prints and shirts on my friends and relatives.

BCN is back! YAY! I will have to get used to this weird new formatting though. I wish newspapers cared more about having good comics than lots of comics, I much prefer BCN at full size. Oh well, something is better than nothing!

I miss the layout, and the colouring, but I understand the necessity of change.

I really really loved Georgia’s artwork in the old format, but new-format Georgia is a zillion times better than no Georgia at all. (Perish the thought!)

Georgia, thanks so much for the preview of what the new strip will look like. Love Lupin on the desk and Elvis waving papers around in the last panel. Keep up the good work!

Eh, I kind of like the more watercolor-y grey-black for stylistic reasons better, but otherwise, I have no pressing issues with the new format.
