Pucky, doing the hard things for the right reasons….. and he’s using a chart to do it! What a magnificent pointer he has too! I so love this little guy!

In all fairness, his source could be wrong. A LOT of bad reporting can be traced back to “so-and-so said, and we repeated it as fact”, when a little critical thinking would suggest so-and-so isn’t qualified to say if their own shoes are tied.

OT: I was so sad to learn that David McCallum has died. He was 90 years old. I’ve been a fan of his since The Man from U.N.C.L.E. His episode of The Outer Limits, “The 6th Finger,” was one of my favorites. He’s the reason I started watching NCIS. Goodbye David, Ducky, Ilya! Thanks for the years of entertainment. Rest in peace.

That is a cool old tree. My neighborhood is losing it’s 75 year old cool oak trees. The city owns the ones in the street easement and have cheaped out on getting them properly trimmed away from the utility lines. Instead hired tree companies ruthlessly whacked them back. My end of my street has lost 6 mature trees just in the past year.

Puck seems so sincere, and Montague is falling for it hook, line, and sinker.

So BCN has gone the way of another recent, in name only, news station and is now propagating lies for nefarious purposes. At least when the British did this during WW II the news agencies were unknowingly fed false information by the British Government which they reported with a sincere belief in its reliability.

I would not be surprised at all to see Montague become the Rupert Murdoch or William Randolph Hearst of the BCN news station when this is all over. The Big Pink House on the Hill will never be the same again.

If he had used a laser pointer, would he have made it through the broadcast? Or would the entire studio have broken out into chaos?

I’ll bet that it’s not a lie, just not nearly the whole truth.

My mom had a crush on him during the Man From Uncle years. When she died she was watching JAG. I’m sure she would have watched NCIS too. She would have freaked to see Ducky. Took me a while to figure out who he was.

The question here: is Montague dumb enough to buy this? Sources say.. probably. This arc is nervewracking as while I know the racoons will no doubt win the war of the fields, we don’t know how or if everything will work, especially with wicket. it’s good writing.

My prediction. I foresee Georgia has a resolution that does not involve Puck giving fake news. Every word he spoke today will be the truth, however, something is about to happen. I predict gumballs will be involved.

Shades of Operation Mincemeat, which we watched a few days ago. We also watched Pork Chop Hill last night. Both are condemnations of the “powers that be” in charge. I’m glad Georgia is not likely to go that way. Here, the allies all seem to be on the same page.

Ok, Pucky’s report is not necessarily a lie. The raccoons are coming back, one way or another. And his sources did specify that particular location.

For those on FB or IG – A GREAT overhead photo (maybe the Camera 1 drone?) of the whole clowder eating together. Very sweet.

Molepoleon looks so regal with his airs and long nails. Almost worthy of a sigh, too bad he’s perceived to be the bad guy. Misled by an owl.

I love that when they reFerred to Ducks memories of certain events, they used shots of his younger Hota as Ducky.

New update on the lil gray guy

On a another happy note, we just got back from the local vet ER, where we dropped almost $1k on our recently rescued stray, Skeezix. He had a horrible abscess from a bite on his rear haunch that has now been cleaned up and under a protective cover. He’s on antibiotics and gabapentin for pain, and has to wear a cone until the wound heals. They also neutered him, so those aliens formerly attached to his butt won’t drive him insane. Poor little guy. He’ll be seeing our vet for dressing changes every three days. We really don’t need a fourth cat.

These kittens are SO sweet and beautiful . . . one of them looks almost exactly like my Mischief. ❤

Good mews on the feral Decibel front. Last night she voluntarily came within an inch of the oldest girl’s hand to get a bite of chicken. Jora also reports that Decibel has learned that the ding of the microwave also means chicken and will enter her room to get it even with the other two cats in there. And this morning she demanded that Jora stay in the living room with her to keep the other cats out while she had her breakfast. For a feral, she sure is talky. She has also made absolutely no attempt to leave the house even when the door is open with no humans near by.
