I loved the home made gifts – especially when my kids were old enough to work with real clay, then even wood-working! I designed 2 wood projects for my 2 oldest boys that their teacher kept to use in the future (a table with a built-in speaker and a hanging lamp that worked 3 ways-had mini lights in the top with frosted glass and a metal reflector with the reading lamp below).
