    Nice Dad! If you’d quit charging her for those toilet paper rolls and bits of cardboard and string, she might have some of her allowance money left after she pays you for her room and board.

    I loved the home made gifts – especially when my kids were old enough to work with real clay, then even wood-working! I designed 2 wood projects for my 2 oldest boys that their teacher kept to use in the future (a table with a built-in speaker and a hanging lamp that worked 3 ways-had mini lights in the top with frosted glass and a metal reflector with the reading lamp below).
