    I just figured we ALL counted the beans…..

    It didn’t even occur to me that it was such a geeky thing to do…. (blush)

    Prider — had there been 9 beans, the joke would have been that he was disappointed by not getting all ten.

    If that were so, he’d be elated by a can containing 11.

    As it stands, he just found out that “10 Bean Soup” means there are only 10 beans in it, which to me is funnier.

    Even finding 12 would be disappointing when you expect a thick bean soup.
