At this rate he’ll never become known as the Comeback Kid.

Guy’s out running and he spots a perfectly good tennis ball. So he picked it up and put it in his hip pocket, continuing on his merry way…. Later he sees a girl he knows and stops to talk to her. She can’t keep her eyes off the bulge in his pants. Finally she asked him “What is that?” He said “tennis ball.” She said, “I’m so sorry. I had tennis elbow once, so know it must hurt…”.

Gee, Susan. You are having a ball. I guess puns are your racket. Maybe setting the world’s record for puns is on your bucket list. Seems you have an endless supply and will never hit the wall: you serve them up everyday. Is this your profession, or just a game? OK, I’m tired.

The kid is magic – 13 balls on the wall, 2 balls on the floor and his bucket is still full

David Letterman is just to the side of the panel.

He turned it into a climbing wall?Got stuck for puns today.SusanS, if you picked today to revisit Birdbrains and found it not updated, it’s more often than most comics updated rather late. and maybe this will help me to remember to check it later too.

I agree with Dogsniff…. Good one, Beau!

Glad to see you’re still in form.

Konrad — Hideous humor is a hobby, though really a hereditary holdover, a horrible heritage.

But if you know of a position for a professional pun producer, please advise ASAP.

And Larry — thanks! I actually did look last night, and didn’t see it…. but I also ran out of steam earlier than usual.
