Hey, was this inspired by the comments on the Oct 13th strip?

    Wow, still nobody here…… helllooooo?

I was thinking…. when Optimus gets a broken joint, a leaky valve or a screw loose, he can just go to the mechanic…

No trips to the hospital, or long recoveries, or even, in the latter case (as I well know), being incurable.

Doesn’t his walker need all-terrain tires for Cybertron?

Something I’ve always wondered about: why don’t walker manufacturers make legs that don’t slip so people don’t have to put ugly tennis balls on them?

Be cool if the walker was a Decepticon.

    What’s an Optimus?

    What’s a Cybertron?

    What’s a Decepticon?

Did this Mechanical Marvel start life in a stroller?

Susan-A belated thanks for the Howard Schultz info on Saturday. I didn’t get the comic till I read your comment. And I was too lazy to Google the name.

Dave — oh my goodness – Didn’t mean to alarm anyone!Larry has it, pretty much.I said in the “latter” case, when grammatically, I should have said “last” case – meaning the last thing on my list: a screw loose…Cos it has been strongly suggested that mine is incurable.

Whether or not it’s an ailment is in the eye of the beholder.I don’t think (forgive me) it’s an aliment, in any case :)

Don’t worry about mentioning it, though — people who think it’s an illness mention it all the time. Like “What the @#%! is wrong with you?”

And ElGuapo, you’re quite welcome, of course.

Sorry, Night-Gaunt and No 6 - I must have been unclear but I can’t figure out in which part….

I was only joking about people saying I have a screw loose, which is akin to being nuttier than a fruit cake.

    Just a little self-deprecating humor….

Some people (especially on this site, which is why I’m here so much) love a pun or a quip….

but some people roll their eyes…..

or even say things to me like “Do you have to make a joke about everything?”

    Well… yeah… if I can…..I do.And sometimes, perhaps even….um…. now…. it has led me astray.

But I can’t give up the ship. :)

    Aw, thank you, kind bunny.

And No. 6, no conditioning was needed — it’s always been more difficult NOT to make them.
