I was wondering why “Brevity” seemed to have changed its writing style—none of the usual puns lately. But thanks to Susan I now know that they’re re-running old strips. Do we know WHY they’re re-running old strips?
Dan Thompson had a death in the family (per his comment at his other strip Rip Haywire). Don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not. Rip’s also been in reruns this week.

Aw, it’s OK….…as long as it keeps him feelin’ his oats…

BTW — still a 2006 strip….Maybe they’re taking a break… and I do love these old strips.
But….the old ones also just say Guy and rOdd….and I noticed yesterday, all three names are gone from the top of the page…did Dan leave?
What’s up, Guy?

The original old joke was that it was a box of corn flakes and he was trying to make a rooster like on the box.
