Carlyle620: The main problem is that the short story by Hemingway is about gun-running to Cuba, while the movie by William Faulkner is about anti-Vichy underground in Martinique. DAZZ: Unless you leave some opening, and a pucker helps, putting your lips together and blowing (without the appropriate member of the brass family) will produce what is otherwise known as a raspberry, Bronx cheer, etc. Partially together is not in the script or scene..Men in Black in real life are more likely to be arresting whistle-blowers than protect them.

Crossing guards have been blowing the whistle on kids for years. And the parents even seem to love them for it.
