- How nice, dear. Juniors offering us a card promising to swindle any item of our choosing from the local department store.
- Not another grift certificate
Susan, I have now! Thanks! I too, find Non Sequitur a must read….The common taters there are great. I too used to read Luanne, but the comments just got to be too many I also read Frazz, because I’m a former teacher, I should read Pearls more…I also enjoy ones that have familiar commentators,, It’s weird, I feel like I know many of them, but I have no idea who they are….I’d like to sit down and have a sarsaparilla with them……Whatever happened to 6?

Grift? Is that a thing?

Varnes… yes…it means petty swindling.
But “swindle” doesn’t mean shoplift or steal…so he must be finagling in some other way.
A “grifter” is a con artist.
Meanwhile, did you see my reply to you on yesterday’s forum, about comics to read?
