President Eisenhower’s motorcade went through Salina KS when I was in 2nd grade; the whole school watched it go by from the windows. I can easily remember him waving and smiling, standing up in the vehicle.

I liked Ike! He was the first President I learned of in elementary school. I would really like to have someone of his caliber in the White House again!

The short barreled version of the Sherman tank. Back in the 1960’s Fox had at least one of those tanks to use. Saw it in both Batman and the Green Hornet. The one in Batman was painted in gold. Penguin and Marsha Queen of Diamonds.
